Zambia wil traditionele sieraden van ivoor Armbanden van ivoorlegaliseren. De Zambia Wildlife Authority Wet ( ZAWA) moet worden herzien omdat het contraproductief werkt bij verschillende tradities van diverse stammen. Dat heeft de Zambiaanse minister voor Toerisme en Kunsten, Sylvia Masebo gezegd.

Festival 200 years David Livingstone

Zambia, Livingstone festival logoIn 2013 it will be 200 years since the birth of David Livingstone, who was born in Blantyre, Scotland, on March 19, 1813. He went on to become famous for his expeditions in Africa as a medical missionary and was the first European to set eyes on the Victoria Falls in the mid-1890s, which he named after Queen Victoria.
